Happiness Solved with Sandee Sgarlata. In this episode, Sandee interviews Lexi Sidders. Lexi is a 22-year old country artist from Templeton, CA, who sparked the attention of music fans after being a top placing contestant at only 19 at the MyCollabStreet Singing Contest and then being recognized by Keith Urban in another contest to sing at his show. Even though she struggled with body issues and bullying throughout her youth, Lexi has used those experiences to power her into the outspoken advocate she is today, supporting numerous children's charities and helping to guide other young adults dealing with their own situations. Finding her own voice, Lexi moved to Nashville, TN to carve out her own path in the music industry. In between performing across the the country sharing stages with artists such as Russell Dickerson, Cheat Codes, Brandi Cyrus, MacKenzie Porter and Lindsay Ell, Lexi has been co-writing numerous tracks for other artists with some of the industry's top songwriters like Rob Pennington (Luke Combs, Chris Janson) and Michael Woodrum (Eric Clapton, Joss Stone). With the demand high to release new solo music of her own, Lexi just released during anti-bullying month her debut single, "Better Off (A Loser)", alongside award-winning mixer Billy Decker (Sam Hunt, Rodney Atkins, Dustin Lynch, Darius Rucker). The song helps support the Boo2Bullying foundation.
